Description

Pictogramme Randonée
This walk will take you on an expedition of beautiful landscapes at the gates of the city. A peaceful stroll along the Broye will allow you to contemplate the famous molasse cliffs and observe various kinds of birds such as herons, ducks and sparrows. This walk is ideal for families (with or without prams), people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs.
This charming walk along the water's edge begins in the Parc du Vallon. From the car park, take the "Via Jacobi no. 4" path under the stone bridge (Pont des Bornels) and down to the river Broye. This section is very steep, so there is an alternative path for wheelchairs and people with reduced mobility. It is advisable to drive down this section and park your car on the banks of the Broye, near the football field. The itinerary is straight and fully signposted "Via Jacobi no. 4". In Bressonnaz, you have to take the bridge crossing the Broye and then continue straight ahead on "Via Jacobi no. 4" until you reach a small stone bridge. The return journey is by the same itinerary.
