Discover the Southeast of the community of Oron thanks to this trail which will take you through villages and hamlets including Palézieux and Ecoteaux. The itinerary leads you along the rivers Broye and Mionne in a loop of some 9 kilometres.

1.  Voie romaine

Palézieux is located on a segment of the main axis of Western Switzerland, linking the Gallo-Roman site of Viviscus (Vevey/VD) to that of the capital of the Helvetii, Aventicum (Avenches/VD). Traces of a Roman villa at Le Martinet (a forge) were discovered in 1812 (mosaics) and 1813 (baths).

2.  Biogaz

Initiated by the brothers Eric and Gérald Ramseyser, the Biogas installation provides more than one million kwh electricity per year. Using the cooling water from the heat-powered engine, a transport pipe heats the secondary school of Palézieux-Village to some 80%.
